Terms of Service
Last updated: March 21, 2026
1. About STBAir
STBAir is a media player application for Smart TVs and streaming devices. It is software only. STBAir does not provide channels, playlists, IPTV service, portal service, or subscriptions to third-party content.
The app lets users enter and use their own portal URLs, credentials, and provider settings. Any third-party portal or content service you connect through STBAir is chosen by you and remains your responsibility.
2. Software License
Subject to these Terms, STBAir grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal lawful use on supported devices.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or distribute the app except where applicable law clearly allows it.
3. Accounts, Device Identity, and Activation
Some STBAir features require an account, device registration, or license activation. The app and website may communicate with STBAir backend endpoints to validate device status, license status, transfers, subscription state, and activation eligibility.
STBAir may use device identity values such as device ID, physical MAC address, virtual MAC address, serial number, or related technical identifiers to manage licensing, device transfers, fraud prevention, and support.
4. Third-Party Portals and Content
You are responsible for every portal URL, credential, playlist, provider, or media source you configure in STBAir. STBAir does not review, host, control, or guarantee those third-party services or any media they make available.
You must have the legal right to access and use any content or service you connect to the app. Do not use STBAir to access content or services you are not authorized to use.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use STBAir for fraud, abuse, circumvention of licensing controls, credential theft, unauthorized access, or any unlawful activity. You may not manipulate device identifiers, virtual MAC values, transfers, accounts, or payment flows to evade license enforcement.
You may not interfere with the service, attempt to break activation or billing systems, or use the app in a way that harms STBAir, other users, or third-party providers.
6. Billing, Licenses, and Renewals
STBAir may offer one-time license purchases, recurring subscription purchases, or both, depending on the plan you choose at checkout. Lifetime licenses are one-time purchases. Non-lifetime plans may be offered either as one-time purchases or as recurring Stripe subscriptions, depending on the checkout option you select.
If you start a recurring subscription, it renews automatically until canceled. If you cancel, the subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period and then stops renewing.
Payments already made are generally not refunded except where required by law or where STBAir expressly agrees otherwise. Chargebacks, payment disputes, fraud, or abuse may result in suspension, deactivation, or permanent loss of access to the affected license or device.
7. Device Transfers
Some licenses may allow a limited number of device transfers. Transfer eligibility depends on the plan you purchased and the current state of the license. STBAir may refuse or limit transfers when the transfer allowance is exhausted, when fraud is suspected, or when license rules are violated.
When a transfer is approved, the previous device may be deactivated and the remaining license period may be moved to the new device according to the app’s transfer rules.
8. Suspension and Termination
STBAir may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the website, app, license, or account for fraud, abuse, chargebacks, security issues, repeated payment failures, illegal use, or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time. Ending your use of the app does not automatically cancel a recurring Stripe subscription; recurring subscriptions must be canceled through the supported billing flow before the next renewal.
9. Disclaimers
STBAir is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or provider, availability of any third-party portal, or uninterrupted access to any media source configured by the user.
Because STBAir does not provide the third-party portal or media service, STBAir is not responsible for the legality, quality, uptime, security, or availability of third-party portals, credentials, streams, playlists, or content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STBAir and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the app, website, or any third-party portal configured through the app.
If the law does not allow all of these limitations, STBAir’s liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update this page and revise the Last updated date above. Continued use of STBAir after the updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
