This Privacy Policy explains how STBAir collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the STBAir website, account portal, and media player app on Smart TVs and streaming devices.

STBAir is media player software only. It does not provide TV channels, IPTV service, playlists, or third-party media subscriptions. Users choose and configure their own portal or provider connection details inside the app.

We collect account and service information you provide directly, such as your email address, name, support messages, purchase records, billing records, and license information.

For activation, licensing, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and support, we may process device and app information such as device ID, physical MAC address, virtual MAC address, device model, device vendor, firmware, serial number, portal URL, IP address, connection status, and related technical or debug data.

When you use STBAir with a third-party portal or provider, the app also communicates with that provider using the portal URL and credentials you enter. Those third-party services are chosen and controlled by you.

We use information to create and manage accounts, issue and validate licenses, process payments, connect the app to your configured portal or provider, support playback features, respond to support requests, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We also use technical data to investigate activation issues, device transfer requests, playback problems, fraud, abuse, chargebacks, and violations of our license terms.

STBAir does not own or control the third-party portals, middleware, playlists, or content sources that users configure in the app. If you add a portal URL or provider credentials, the app will connect to that provider on your behalf.

Those providers operate under their own privacy practices and terms. You are responsible for reviewing those policies and for making sure you have the right to access any content or service you configure through STBAir.

We share information only when needed to operate the service or comply with legal obligations. This may include service providers that host our systems, process payments, send support or account emails, or help us diagnose technical issues.

Examples include our hosting provider, payment processor, authentication provider, database provider, and email delivery providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to investigate fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or security incidents.

We keep account, billing, license, and device activation records for as long as your account or license remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle accounting, support, fraud review, chargebacks, disputes, and legal obligations.

Support and debug data is kept only as long as needed for the support issue or our operational records. Device and trial records may also be retained for fraud prevention, license enforcement, transfer history, and customer support.

You can update certain account details through your account or by contacting support. You can also ask us about the information associated with your account, request corrections, or request deletion, subject to legal, billing, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.

STBAir is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@stbair.com so we can review and take appropriate action.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account, license, and device data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update this page and revise the Last updated date above. Your continued use of STBAir after the updated policy is posted means you accept the revised policy.
